SM Will Join The 2024 International Coastal Clean-Up

Creating positive changes is at the core of SM Group's mission to make a significant impact on our oceans and create a cleaner and healthier environment for all. And this year, SM will again be at the forefront of the 2024 International Coastal Clean-Up (ICC). 

It will take place on September 21, 2024 and 15 different SM Supermalls across the country will simultaneously join the event. These are: SM By the Bay at SM Mall of Asia Complex, SM Tuguegarao Downtown, SM City Tuguegarao, SM City Bataan, SM City Olongapo Central, SM City Olongapo Downtown, SM City Sorsogon, SM City Legazpi, SM Daet, SM City Puerto Princesa, SM City Roxas, SM City Cebu, SM City Seaside Cebu, SM City Mindoro, and SM City General Santos. 

SM Cares has collected more than 100,000kg of trash in 2023 with the help of 17,000 volunteers from 15 SM Supermalls nationwide. And to celebrate its 20th year of supporting communities and creating positive impact on the environment, SM Cares targets to double the amount of solid waste collection to 200,000kg this year, eyeing a volunteer count of 20,000.
