Summer is not just going to the beach and playing in the sand. It can be spent in so many different ways especially for a teenager like me who really looks forward to it after spending 10 whole months in school.
At the onset of summer this year, my family and I went to Baguio along with 4 other families. We enjoyed lots of outdoor activities such as strawberry picking at the Strawberry Farm. It was really hot when we arrived at the farm but it was so worth the fun that we had while picking strawberries. The scent of strawberries reminded me of my favorite Blush Berry Pure 'N Fresh cologne which I happily dabbed on myself after being under the sun for about an hour.

TRAVEL: Sunrise At Angkor Wat
Angkor Wat is one of the well-known temples in Ancient Angkor in Siem Reap and people usually flock here at dawn to witness the sunrise. We bought our tickets the day before so that we need not fall in line in the morning and miss the sunrise.
Alas, we left Rithy Rine Angkor Hotel a bit late than our scheduled 5am so we missed the actual daybreak. Travel time from our hotel to Angkor Wat is roughly 30 minutes. Nonetheless, my friend and I can't help but marvel at the awesome sight before us.

HOTEL REVIEW: Rithy Rine Angkor Hotel
Rithy Rine Hotel is located along Wat Bo Street in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This is a 3-star hotel in a residential area but is still walking distance from the Old Market and Pub Street which is the nightlife hub.
We found the hotel in Agoda and made online booking without any glitches. Airport pick-up was included in the service although tuktuk was used by the driver.

TRAVEL: Arriving in Siem Reap
Travel from Manila to Siem Reap is about 2 hours and 45 minutes by plane. My friend and I took Cebupacific Air and it was a very smooth flight. We are on a D-I-Y backpacking trip so its really an adventure for both of us. Well, a few splurges here and there seems unavoidable including the airfare. ;)

Rocky Rosabal: Voice Of McDonald's
Our very own Rocky Rosabal becomes the first runner up in the Voice of McDonald's Season 5 when he sang "Faithfully." The contest was recently held at the McDonald's Worldwide Convention in Orlando, Florida last May 1.
This contest is exclusively for McDonald's employees and with contestants hailing from all parts of the globe, I am happy that we as Filipinos has proven yet again how talented we are. Congratulations, Rocky !!!
Working as a McDonald's crew in Cagayan de Oro, Rocky was also hailed as "Fan Favorite" in a public online voting contest that with a cash prize of $5,000.
Rocky entertained journalists and bloggers during the meet-and-greet at McDonald's Greenbelt early this month. He belted out famous songs including- Faithfully.

Lagundi Cures Cough
Parents dread the summer months because year after year, summer becomes super hot and kids tend to sweat a lot thus they are susceptible to coughs and colds. Not to worry because Lagundex Cough Syrup comes to the rescue.
I, for one is very particular when it comes to giving my daughter medicine because I don't want her to be too dependent on it. I prefer herbal cures such as oregano and lagundi whose leaves I boil and then give the tea to Isabel whenever she has a cough or a cold. Alas, the infernal heat this summer killed my plants so I'm at a loss.

Starting with the
50 Platinum, Archos is offering tablet-like features into mobile phones. The 50
Platinum has a bright 5-inch IPS panel, a powerful quad-core Qualcomm processor
running a 1.2 GHz, a 1 Gb RAM, 4 Gb internal flash memory and a dual-SIM slot.
It has a 2,000 milliampere (mAh) battery life, providing a 161 hour standby
