HOTEL REVIEW: Hotel Sunroute Ginza
Hotels in Tokyo can be expensive especially those in nice locations such as the ones near Tokyo Station, Marunochi, Kanda, Ginza, Tsukiji, and other nearby areas but with the right App, you can get great hotel rates even on a Friday / weekend.
I was scheduled to fly back to Manila on a weekend and since I've been staying in Kanagawa, it's a bit far to travel and arrive at the airport on time. I plan to go to the airport via the airport bus in Tokyo Station so a hotel within the vicinity is a priority.
Klook comes to the rescue. Using Klook App, I zeroed in on Hotel Sunroute Ginza because its location is perfect. From Kanagawa, I'll be taking the Nagatsuta train route till Ginza Station which is roughly 5-6 minutes walk to the hotel. And it is also about 15 minutes by foot to the airport bus at Tokyo Station. So convenient, right?

TRAVEL: Fly to Tokyo - Manila via ZIPAIR
Heads-up! There's a new budget airlines that flies from Tokyo to Manila and vice versa and it has very reasonable rates. ZIPAIR, JAL's low-cost airlines has now included Manila in its routes beginning July 1, 2023.
I was supposed to fly back a week ago but upon learning about ZIPAIR, I decided to extend a bit and fly home with ZIPAIR on its second day run. I know it's memorable to fly on its maiden flight to Manila but I am not ready to go home yet.
