At the Red Bull Basement, participants will receive tools they need to craft a winning business plan. The winning national champion from the Philippines will earn an exclusive invitation to the Red Bull Basement World Finals in Tokyo, Japan. Application is open until September 30, 2024.
Young innovators are given the platform and encourage to make a meaningful change at the Red Bull Basement. It also aims to unlock the participants full potential through unique opportunities such as networking, collaboration, and expert-led workshops thus, empowering participants to challenge the status quo and bring their visionary ideas to life using the latest technology, leaving a lasting impact on a global scale.
Red Bull Basement Philippines invites a fresh cohort of student innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts to present their ideas. Participants are asked to harness AI to build robust business plans, identify key opportunities, prioritize growth areas, and bring their ideas to life. Teams of one or two innovators in the Philippines can apply by visiting the website: Red Bull Basement. An intuitive AI tool will guide interested participants in creating and submitting a concise, one-page business plan. A panel of local judges will then select the top participants for the National Final.
Red Bull Basement has partnered with Microsoft and AMD for the 2024th edition, placing strong emphasis on AI technologies to deliver an exceptional experience. The Red Bull Basement Chatbot, powered by Microsoft, will utilize Azure OpenAI Service and AMD Instinct accelerators to assist teams in developing their ideas and creating business plans.
The winner(s) of the National Final will gain access to invaluable resources. They will refine their business plans and further develop their ideas, moving closer to launching their ideas as their viable start-ups. They will also be equipped with AI-enabled laptops featuring AMDs latest Ryzen AI processor technology.
The National Champion will also head to the World Final, going up against innovators from 40 other countries, as the exclusive representative of the Philippines. This event features intensive workshops and networking opportunities, culminating in the announcement of the global winner of Red Bull Basement 2024. The World Final winner will be given a 3-week hands-on experience at Silicon Valley, California in 2025, and allow them to gain personal mentorship and networking opportunities with global industry leaders.
