Acer Day 2024 is definitely one for the books!
Amazing performances by Cup of Joe, TJ Monterde, Ebe Dancel, Rico Blanco, G22, Sandara Park, and SB19!
Of course, concert-goers also got to win prizes from Acer. How cool, right?!
This year's theme: "AI'm Limitless," aims to inspire people to push beyond their limits and explore new user experiences with Acer's vast range of PCs and lifestyle products.
This year's Acer Day Concert celebration was held at the SM MOA Arena last August 4, 2024. Hosted by the wholesome Luis Manzano, Acer ambassadors SB19, Sandara Park and G22, along with Cup of Joe, TJ Monterde, Ebe Dancel, and Rico Blanco, performed in front of the over 20,000 people. The event was also livestreamed on Facebook.
"Acer Day helps connect us with our customers through music and different activities that allow them to try the products which provide tools that enable individuals to explore limitless possibilities and bring their ideas to life," said Sue Ong Lim, Managing Director at Acer Philippines.
Alternative band, Cup of Joe, opened the show with "Wag na Lang," "Tingin," and "Estranghero," followed by crooner-songwriter TJ Monterde who sang "Mahika," "Tulad Mo," and "Palagi." Moving on to OPM icon Ebe Dancel with nostalgic songs- "Makita Kang Muli," "Wag Kang Umiyak," "Bawat Daan," and crowd hit "Hari ng Sablay." He even thanked Acer for reaching out to him during the pandemic, and gave him an opportunity to sing for company executives and employees online. Thus, providing some income for artist like him during the pandemic.
Rico Blanco gave the crowd more energy by performing, "Antukin," "Umaaraw Umuulan," "Your Universe," "Kisapmata," and "You'll Be Safe Here."
Then it's the Acer ambassadors' turn to perform: SB19, Sandara Park, and G22, the Female Alphas of P-pop!
It was fun to see and hear Sandara Park and G22 perform "In or Out." Then it was Dara and SB19 with "Reset," a song they collaborated for Acer in 2023.
G22 performed "Boomerang," "Bang," "One Sided Love," and "Loka." Dara kept the party vibe with "Dara Dara," "I Don't Care," and "I'm The Best+Can't Nobody."
And then it was time for SB19 who definitely woke up the crowd with songs- "Gento," "Hanggang sa Huli," and "Crimzone."
But wait, there's a surprise performance with their unreleased song titled "Kalakal," with rapper Gloc9.
SB19 and G22 performed "Limitless," for the last act of the night, the theme song of Acer Day 2024. Pablo of SB19 composed the song.
"The concert and all the Acer Day activities showcase Acer's AI-powered ranged of products, which will not only elevate user experiences but also open limitless opportunities," said Princess Laosantos, Senior Marketing Manager of Acer Philippines.
