There's no denying that kids and teens in this generation are very much into a digital lifestyle. And why not? They grew up exposed to gadgets and technology that it runs in their veins, figuratively. With these in mind, and to help hone their kids further, Power Mac Center (PMC) through its official training arm- Basecamp, has launched Creativity Camp: Workshop for Kids & Teens.
The primary goal of the program is to empower young learners and foster their digital creativity and critical thinking skills. Creativity Camp provides engaging and age-appropriate digital courses covering topics such as digital art, calligraphy, coding, 3d design, and graphic design, as well as non-digital courses focused on painting and drawing. These training sessions are scheduled to commence in April and continue until July, for ages 6-15.
And as a treat for participants, get up to P2,000 off on digital and non-digital design workshops if you enroll now until March 27, 2024.
"Basecamp blends digital and non-digital skills, offering valuable educational experiences for kids and teens during their school break. Whether they're delving into coding, creating digital art, or honing their painting and drawing techniques, these workshops cultivate a diverse learning environment. We invite parents to enroll their kids and teens in any of our workshops to not only enhance their technical abilities but also deepen their appreciation for creativity and self-expression," said Maleng Raysag, Head at Basecamp.
Develop your child / teen's digital skills:
Young creators will get to familiarize themselves with digital art using iPads with the "draw and Share on iPad" course. This programs enables them to make digital art and craft impactful posters. There's also "Calligraphy on iPad" to help young artists refine their handwriting skills so they can merge calligraphy's timeless elegance with modern technology.
For "Code and Play with Hopscotch on iPad," this workshop is tailored for young learners, allowing them to have fun while honing essential coding abilities.
"3D Art on Mac," allows kids and teens to transform their ideas into 3D masterpieces. They will be taught to produce remarkable 3D visuals.
For "Canva Graphics on Mac" program, kids will get to design educational and personal projects.
Basecamp also offers non-digital courses:
"Coffee Painting" workshop explores the artistic side of the child using an eco-friendly and unconventional medium. For "3D Pen Magic," this program employs seemingly magical pens to transform kids' 2D drawings into cool, original 3D objects.
Creativity Camp courses are priced at P5,500 per student per course. Each course spans 4 days, with 2-hour sessions each day. There's also a package deal priced at P15,000 per student for any three courses. Check - PMC Basecamp for full schedule.
