The honor is not just for Tanduay Distellers, Inc., this is also a milestone for the country because it truly shows that The Philippines has world-class craftmanship.
The annual survey by Drinks International is based from 153 brands and from there, it has release industry updates and brand rankings. It also includes the major players in the rum category. Based on the report, the top-two contenders for this year's ranking are Bacardi and Tanduay but Tanduay bested the later with an additional 3M cases in 2019.

And as Tanduay continues its effort and initiative to put the Philippines on the rum market, it promise to work hard and embark on high profile marketing in the international market. Tanduay is also happy to announce its partnership with the City of Bacolod in staging the first Rum Festival in the Philippines slated on August 17 to 24, 2019. This is also paying homage to the city's sugarcane industry.
