Waking up early is a must if you are going to the strawberry farm because by 9am, the sun's rays already hot. Pray for clouds but not rain clouds. ;)
Wearing comfortable clothes is also a must but keep in mind that you'll be under the hot sun so it's best to wear long sleeves or use an umbrella or a hat. Applying sunblock is also okay. Then wear shoes that you won't mind getting dirty as you pick your strawberries, and shoes that are not slippery.
There are a lot of farm plots to choose from so its either you choose the one near the entrance or in the middle of the field or way, way back. The plot owners will give you a basket to fill. When we went there, a kilo of strawberries costs PhP300. This is pricier than the ones sold in Baguio City market and at the fruit station near the entrance to the farm.
That's daughter looking for big plump strawberries.
Aside from strawberries, there are also lettuce head for picking, there's also broccoli the last time we went there.
That's me with our basket of strawberries. Yum!
