Rommel Manto and Paul Sena at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club

A back-to-back exhibit of Rommel Manto and Paul Sena is on show the whole month of April at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club at the Ground Level, Amorsolo Square, Amorsolo Drive, Rockwell Center, Makati.
            No other two artists could have been more different. Manto finished Fine Arts at the University of Sto. Tomas. He then led a professional life doing everything creative – book illustration, mascot production, murals, stage design, print ads, billboards, logos. Some of his works he did while at the Cultural Center of the Philippines.  His natural talent he supplemented with extensive knowledge of computer graphics.
            One of Manto’s works in the exhibit is  “Carriedo,” a colorful oil depiction of the hustling and bustling commercial and business hub of Manila.

Sketches and Paintings Exhibit by Frieda, Kankan and Nina

Chef Jessie Rockwell Club play host once again to an art exhibit beginning August 8, 2014 till first week of September.

Frieda Colet Lim, Kankan Ramos Lim and Nina Lim Yuson are three extraordinary women who weaves tales of love, family, life and travel through their sketches and paintings. Coincidentally, the artists are also related to one another and this is their first exhibit collaboration.

The exhibit is a combination of charcoal, watercolor, pastel portraits from Frieda's 20 piece works which she calls her "therapeutic tonic."

Oriental Painting Exhibit by Lao Shr Ceasar Cheng

Lao Shr (teacher) Ceasar Cheng, the foremost authority when it comes to the Lingnan School Tradition of Chinese Painting here in Manila recently opened his first solo exhibit at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club. The exhibit highlights the vivid and graceful brushstroke paintings of Lao Shr Cheng.

Oriental Brushstrokes by Ceasar Cheng

From July 1- 31, 2014 Chef Jessie Rockwell Club plays host to Ceasar Cheng's brushstroke exhibition.

Hailed for his realistic and fluid strokes, Ceasar Cheng's brushstrokes echoes the essence of the Lingnan School Tradition of Chinese Painting. This style of brushstroke is elegant and dynamic and makes the painting lively because it looks two-dimensional compared with the Traditional Brushstroke painting method.
