The trade fair is made possible thru the Coconut Farmers and Industry Development Plan, guided by RA 11524 or the Coconut Farmers and Industry Trust Fund Act, and of course, DTI and other partner government agencies and LGUs.
Dexter Buted, Admin Head of the Philippine Coconut Authority, along with DTI Secretary Maria Cristina Aldeguer-Roque and 4th District Representative Christopher de Venecia, and other guests conducted the official lighting of the Christmas Tree which was decorated with coconut by-products.
The COCONUTPhilippines Trade Fair is designed to be a premier platform for showcasing the vast potential of Philippine coconut-based products while exporting innovative industry directions. The event gathered coconut farmers, MSMEs, institutional buyers, and key stakeholders for sourcing opportunities, order-taking, and collaborative discussions. It features product launches, market testing, benchmarking, business matching, negotiations, and direct selling.
The event also highlighted the launch of COCONUTPhilippines brand and the unveiling of the COCOMania mascots.
COCONUTPhilippines is from December 2-4, 2024 at Megatrade Hall 1, SM Megamall. Admission is FREE.
