It was an exciting two-day adrenalin pumping play-offs at the Asia Pacific Predator League 2024 Grand Finals held at the SM MOA Arena last January 13-14, 2024. The two day event tested the gaming skills of competing teams from all over the Asia Pacific region- China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam.
Two Philippine teams dominated the Dota 2 game- Blacklist Rivalry and Execration. Both teams showed dedication to the game by giving out their best and making sure that their opponents will have a hard time as they defend their own camps whilst attacking the opponent. Mastery is the name of the game here and Blacklist Rivalry didn't allow Execration to score. Game ended with 2-0 in favor of Blacklist Rivalry and they were declared as the APAC Predator League 2024 Grand Finals Champion for Dota 2.
Gabbi of Blacklist Rivalry was also awarded as the MVP and with a prize of $10,000.
For VALORANT, FAV gaming and Team Secret made it to the final round and where they vied for the coveted Predator Shield. Both teams showed their prowess with attack and defense, as well as using different weapons, tactical abilities, and even mind games! VALORANT is a game that will test one's hunger for blood and Team Secret made no secret of that. Pun intended! However, FAV gaming put up a good fight, including team favorite- Ten Ten. But really, they were no match for Team Secret who are on the warpath and eventually annihilated FAV gaming opponents to win the game 2-0.
Invy was awarded MVP for VALORANT. He received a cash prize of $10,000.
