Workd of Frozen is now officially open at Hong Kong Disneyland Resort.
Guests from all-over the world got to immersed themselves at the Kingdom of Arendelle when they attended the launch, "A Spectacular Celebration of World of Frozen."
The Kingdom of Arendelle comes to life in the World of Frozen, based on the beloved kingdom from the animation films- Frozen and Frozen 2. Guests got transported to the cinematic and living land of Arendelle, got to mingle with the characters, culture, enchanting music, Summer Snow Day and much, much more.
Special guests includes: Robert Iger, CEO at The Walt Disney Company; Josh D'Amaro, Chairman at Disney Experiences; Jill Estorino, President and Managing Director of Disney Parks International; Michael Moriarty, Managing Director of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort; Jennifer Lee, Chief Creative Officer of Walt Disney Animation Studios and Oscar -winning writer/director of Frozen and Frozen 2.
"Our Imagineers worked with the team at Disney Animation to ensure every detail is just right. World of Frozen transports you to another world, where you can have fun with your loved ones and make some incredible memories together," said D'Amaro.
"The 'Frozen' franchise is one of the most successful in Disney history and it's a testament to the power of great storytelling, which is the foundation of The Walt Disney Company. It's been this way for 100 years, and our commitment to the storytelling and creativity will continue to define our next 100," said Iger.
"We could not have dreamt that one day, we would have the opportunity to walk through and truly experience the Kingdom of Arendelle, as we all are today," said Jennifer Lee. "I stand here- representing all of our artists who have worked together to create the 'Frozen' films- inspired and amazed."
The celebration unfolded along the Bay of Arendelle in the World of Frozen. The air was filled with anticipation as the Royal Choir of Arendelle took the stage to perform a beautiful medley of 'Frozen' songs. Iger, D'Amaro, and Lee extended a heartfelt welcome to those who attended the event. As Queen Elsa cast her Ice Magic, it summoned the appearance of Olaf and created an enchanting scene. Queen Anna proclaimed that the gates of Arendelle are opening, and all guests enjoyed a beautiful and enchanting evening under the stars.
Guests were treated to a spectacular drone show with iconic formations from the film- Frozen.
