Philippine Airlines is expanding its Cebu hub by offering more flights to local destinations in the country. It has now flights from Cebu to Laoag, and resumes flights from Cebu to other parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
PAL's "Larga Ta, Cebu! campaign connects the South (Cebu) to the North (Laoag). Through this newly opened direct route, those in the Southern Philippines can now have the convenience of having faster access to the cultural heritage sites and local flavors in the Ilocos region, and vice versa.
"Through our 'Larga Ta, Cebu!' campaign, Philippine Airlines is providing more ways to reach every part of the Philippines and the world. The true beauty of our diversity and culture is best seen through the eyes of explorers, and we want more people to experience the unparalleled beauty of our land," said Captain Stanley Ng, President of Philippine Airlines. "PAL is eager to serve more leisure and business travelers and thus we are expanding our network of flights to and from the Queen City of the South, as Cebu is an ideal and convenient travel gateway."
Being in a strategic location in the center of the Philippines, Cebu has been a commerce and culture area. Along with PAL's expansion of its Mactan-Cebu hub to include a historic new route to Laoag that gives Southerners a chance to connect with those from the North and vice versa.
Aside from that, PAL also reopens its routes from Cebu to General Santos, Legaspi (Daraga), and Ozamiz. With these new routes, travelers have now more reasons to discover and explore other regions in the country.
"Philippine Airlines welcomes all to explore new destinations around our country, all accessible from our hub airport in Cebu. Let's discover the uncharted wonders and embrace the diverse beauty of our beautiful Philippines," added Captain Ng.
PAL travelers can now book their next trip from Cebu to Laoag, General Santos, Legaspi (Daraga), and Ozamiz beginning December 15, 2023.
