HOTEL REVIEW: New World Makati Hotel

Another successful staycation achieved! This time, it's at the New World Makati Hotel just across Greenbelt 3. Perfect location as it is walking distance to malls, restaurants, convenience stores, fastfood just in case you want to eat some midnight snack, etc.

For our reservation, I got a Deluxe Room with King Sized Bed. New World Makati is one of the seniors hotels in the area so room is quite spacious as compared to the newer ones. Check-in time is 2PM onwards. I think we arrived around 3PM so the hotel desk is not that busy anymore.

We're given a room that faces Arnaiz Street which has a nice view of the surrounding greens. The other side faces Greenbelt and nearby buildings.

Here's our nice room with kingsize bed, desk, two-seater sofa. There's also a Smart-TV on top of a dresser. Quite a relaxing room except that I wish it had some pop of color to make it lively.

Here's another view of the room.

This mini-pantry/ coffee cupboard is my favorite. I think it's pure genius that they included an outlet inside so that one need not bring out the kettle. There's also the safebox which is above the mini fridge.

Another favorite room feature is the bathtub (aside from the shower!). Yey!

And thumbs up for the refillable bottle of shampoo, hair conditioner, bodywash, handwash. I think other hotels should adopt to this as it is environmental-friendly.

My daughter was also very happy with Mallin + Goetz toiletries. Wow!

This is the poolside. We weren't able to swim in the morning because we went somewhere the first day, then the following day, it was raining so the water is cold. But we did have a nice evening swim for two consecutive nights and it was perfect since we mostly had the pool to ourselves. Best time to avoid the crowd is during dinner time.

There's live music every evening at the lounge area.

To sum it up, we had a wonderful stay at the New World Makati Hotel. Its proximity to the mall, convenience stores, restaurants greatly reminds me of our travels abroad. Haha, yes ... especially the 7-11's! It was fun to buy the 3-in-1 coffee and chips from 7-11 and then eat it at the hotel after swimming or for midnight snack after watching Netflix. Then there's the late lunch with hubby at Milky Way Cafe which was just in nearby Arnaiz Street. Btw, WiFi was fast, too! Hubby enjoyed his workcation.

For this hotel staycation/workcation, I made reservations via Klook app. Here's my Klook Story.
