It took us less than an hour (35-45 mins) to travel from Terminal 4 to Boracay Airport in Caticlan. I mean, flying to Boracay is faster than being caught in Metro Manila's traffic. ;)
So after a not-so-quick lunch, we were excited to go to the beach (bags included). Its about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Its around 3pm and the water is receding because its low tide.
A Boracay adventure is not complete without island hopping. We toured Crystal Cove, the courageous ones (Cheena and Rey) walked off the planks and dove 10 meters high, and went snorkeling near Ilig-Iligan Beach.
This is just a part of Crystal Cove. If you don't plan to island hop, visiting Crystal Cove is cheaper. You can also swim and snorkle here. Rate is P350 for an unlimited pass inclusive of round trip boat ride. You can inquire at Tambisaan port for this special rate.
Here's me, in my snorkle ootd. I seem to be asleep in the photo. Must be the very filling meal we just had at Ilig-Iligan Beach.
We spent three wonderful days in Boracay and stayed at Azalea Hotels & Residences. This is conveniently located in Station 2 and is a few minutes walk from the famous D'Talipapa (a stretch of restaurants wherein you can buy seafood and have it cooked), and D'Mall (a stretch of restos and souvenir shops). Azalea has an ongoing promo rate of P1,275 per pax inclusive of breakfast.
Stay tuned for my detailed tour of Boracay Island thanks to Azalea Hotels & Residences.
