The province of Pangasinan is set to introduce its artisanal creations at the Manila FAME from October 19-21 at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. It has tapped 10 MSMEs to showcase "Made in Pangasinan" craftmanship at the prestigious trade exhibition for the first time.
The ten carefully selected MSMEs are supported by Pangasinan Governor Ramon Guico III, and local leaders of Binalonan and Bolinao, and other local agencies. The MSMEs will present fashion pieces to home furnishings that evoke tropical elegance that highlights the province' rich heritage.
"Promoting the province' diverse industries through prestigious trade events like Manila FAME is a key part of the bigger economic growth initiative in Pangasinan. MSMEs play a vital role in ensuring inclusive economic growth in the province, as they can help accelerate trade and exportation," said Gov. Guico. "I believe that the MSMEs joining the Manila FAME will represent the best of everything made in Pangasinan. They embody what Pangasinan, Ang Galing truly means.
