HOTEL REVIEW: Dusit Thani Manila

Sawasdee ka! 

Dusit Thani is one of the landmark hotels in Metro Manila and sits in a prime location that is roughly 15 minutes away from the Terminal 3 airport. It is also walking distance from several malls, and numerous restaurants as well as being in the Makati Central Business District. 

We enjoyed our staycation here. As always, hotel reservation (and pre-payment) was done via Booking.com and it was a seamless transaction, from online payment to actual check-in. I just showed my booking details and ID, and was given the room key. That fast. 

We were given a room with a king-sized bed and it was perfect! We had a very comfortable sleep, thank you. 

My daughter was also excited because of the bathtub. Some newer hotels doesn't have a bathtub because of the room size. Dusit Thani's room is quite spacious, even the closet.

The room window is facing West so we had a lovely view of the sunset. 

This is the lobby. Very nice and has that elegant-feel. Aside from The Pantry (buffet restaurant), Dusit Thani is also home to Benjarong, a Thai-specialty restaurant. 

There's also a lovely zen garden. There's also a gym and pool but we didn't manage to go there to even to take a peek. 

Some parts of the hotel are still being renovated, and that includes Ume, the Japanese-resto. I'm not sure though if they will open that restaurant again. 

To sum it up, Dusit Thani Manila is a very nice and comfortable hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful should you need any assistance. We did make some requests to Housekeeping and thumbs up for the service! 

Can't wait for our next staycation here.
