Chan-Lim Family of Artists Exhibit at SM North EDSA

The Chan Lim Family of Artists has been known for its engaging art works that promotes Chinese brush painting in the Philippines. Coinciding with the family patriarch Chan Lim's 80th birthday, the family of artists and students launched an art exhibit at The Block, SM North EDSA that highlights the diverse talents of the family.

Chan Lim, the patriarch is passionate about oil and watercolor and you can see his artworks in porcelain plates.

Though engineers by profession, the Chan Lim siblings Alex, Felix, Rolex and Jolex has also dabbled in Chinese brush painting, and now, their offsprings too. Because of their passion for art, the family has conducted numerous workshops, classes, and on-the-spot-demos.

The family has also joined both local and international art exhibits. And with the family's younger generation of artists, they love experimenting with different types of media that includes modern digital techniques and incorporates it into Chinese art.
