It's one of the oldest hotels in Bangkok and I think it was built when Bangkok is not that crowded yet.
Since we arrived late in the evening (almost midnight), the hotel feels deserted already. Except for the guard, doorman, and the ladies in the check-in area, everything is quiet. Also, this hotel is not located in Bangkok's night district so it is really quiet even in the neighborhood.
I love this tall painting at the lobby. It depicts Thailand's culture and Buddhism background.
Here's the bar.
And here's our bedroom. It's a twin sharing room that faces Bangkok's busy skyway. I forgot what floor we are in but I really, really love the view.
Here's the lobby lounge. I love the comfy chairs and the trees outside. It looks so nice to sit here and just relax.
There's a cafe and pastry shop also.
And here's the buffet restaurant. The view outside (trees, garden) reminds me greatly of Shangri-La Makati. I mean, at the other end of those trees is a busy street. ;)
Here's the swimming pool. It is somewhere on the 7th or 9th floor. Can't really remember since I was not able to go there, but just took a peek at the end of the hall.
It's a very nice hotel except for the fact that its kinda far away from the mall and the tourist spots. Also, the staff are friendly even if they have a hard time communicating in English.
