Pay It Forward to Our Modern-Day Heroes with PayMaya

The medical frontliners are our modern-day heroes as we battle the Covid-19 pandemic. They have been tirelessly doing their best in providing care for our kababayans, and the least we can do to help is to practice health safety measures and utilize technology.

Utilizing digital apps like PayMaya are making it easier for Filipinos to participate in bayanihan movements for the community- this includes making donations to organizations whose beneficiaries are healthcare workers.

Here are some ways on how you can support them:

Practice safe health standards in your day-to-day activities. Instead of going out, opt to purchase online in PayMaya Mall or do your bills payment via PayMaya. By doing cashless payments, health protocols are being followed and we are assured that we and our loved ones are safe from the virus.

Donate to initiatives for medical frontliners. PayMaya has many partner organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross, PGH Medical Foundation, PLDT-Smart Foundation, and Alagang Kapatid Foundation.

Purchase digital products at PayMaya's in app shop to provide meals to medical frontliners. From May 18-20, 2021, PayMaya is doing a flash donation for our frontliners. Each time you purchase digital products such as telco load, gaming pins, on-demand content credits, and transportation credits from in-app PayMaya Shop, the company will donate P1 on your behalf to build a fund to distribute packed meals to a total of 10,000 medical frontliners of 26 public hospitals for five days.

Make an emergency donation to the Philippine General Hospital through the PGH Medical Foundation. A portion of PGH's pay ward has been struck with fire recently and damage the facilities as well as displaced patients. It has called for food, non-food, and cash donations.
