The AYDA 2019 competition is for Architecture and Interior Design students (3rd year and up). A student may submit one (1) entry only until November 22, 2019. Entries should be sent in a CD or USB and in a folder named "Presentation Board" that includes JPEG files at 3000dpi resolution, along with a copy of SY2019-20 School ID, filled-out entry form, and a 2x2 photo (3000dpi) JPEG file. Prizes include P50k cash for the Grand Winner plus an internship at JSLA (for Architecture category) and intership at AIDEA and Santa Fe Interior Architecture Sdn Bhd (for Interior Design category). This also include a chance to compete against AYDA Gold Awardees from 14 other countries and be proclaimed as- "Asia Young Designer of the Year." Bagging the AYDA 2019 also include the all-expense-paid 6-week learning experience under the Design Discovery Program at the Harvard University School of Design in the US.
Silver Award winners for both categories will get P30k cash prize and internship at JSLA Architects (for Architecture category). The other 8 finalists will each receive P10k cash prize. Other awards include: Best Mentor for professors of the Gold Award winners, and People's Choice Award for the design that will garner the "Most Number of Likes" in social media; these comes with P10k cash prize. Best Color Choice and Best Green Innovation Awards winner will each get P5k. There's also Best College/University and Best Support College/University Awards and will each receive P10k cash prize and P10 worth of Nippon Paint vouchers.
