Camaya Coast is located in a cove along the coast of Mariveles, Bataan. Land travel is also possible although it might take 3-4 hours. And because of its location, the water here is clear and clean. One can also appreciate the green surroundings as well as bird-watching.
The resort has its own boat which is docked at Esplanade Seaside Terminal. Boarding time is 730am and it leaves the dock by 8am. We arrived at Camaya Coast 10:30am. Expect a long walk from the boat to that bamboo walkway via the pontoon (floating bridge). This is where your balance gets tested because the floating bridge moves along with the waves. But don't worry because there are tons of guides to help you. So after the pontoon, there's still that stretch of bamboo walkway till you reach the entrance (land) wherein you are required to register (daytour or overnight guest).
Here's the beautiful Camaya Coast Hotel. It really stands out against the blue sky and green surroundings.
We were billeted in a loft-type family room that can fit 6 pax. That table morphs into a bed. How cool! There are two queen-sized beds. Then there's a small balcony behind that curtains.
The second floor of the loft has twin beds and you can request for an extra mattress or two if you still need it. It also has its own bathroom.
Here's the bathroom and the hotel staff is nice enough to provide each of us separate towels and toiletries aside from the ones inside the bathroom. Thumbs up!
Here's the view outside our balcony. So peaceful and quiet!
So after freshening up, everyone is ready to hit the beach. For those who just want to relax, there are several beach chairs near the lifeguard. There's also a nearby play area for small kids.
Aside from swimming, you can also enjoy activities like kayaking, riding the banana boat, or maybe asking the staff to take you on a boat ride in their bancas. You can also bike around the place or ride the ATV.
Of course, nothing beats swimming in the beach! The sand is even and its lowtide from morning to about 4pm so one can really enjoy the sea. However, it can get really hot especially in the afternoon so its best to swim in the hotel pool or the infinity pool. But if you're like me, I'd swim in the beach.
Here's the infinity pool. Proper swimming attire is required though.
And for those craving to just relax and sleep, there's the Mandara Spa. Enjoy a nice and long massage with scented oils to help you unwind from your busy schedule in the city.
And there's also a coffeeshop, Figaro, inside the hotel. There's also the Wood Pavilion restaurant which is quite near the beach so one can really enjoy a relaxing meal full of vitamin sea; there's a nearby bar, Potato Corner, and Big Chill. Other food stalls are expected to open up soon.
Here's my favorite activity at Camaya Coast- sunset watching. Its so nice to just sit on the beach and watch the sunset.

ReplyDeleteWow! I wish we could go there too! Perfect this summer!
ReplyDeleteHow is the network signal in the beach? Smart? Globe?
ReplyDeleteGlobe. There's a nearby tower. Smart has signal during the boat ride though. No signal for Smart on Camaya.
