Jollibee Group Foundation Facilitated The First Agri-Tech Program

Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) continues to hone farmers' skills by conducting the first-ever Agri-Tech Facilitator Training Program. The training covered the first of three modules for the program which is part of JGF's initiative to help smallholder farmers into agri-tech facilitators who will identify, test, and promote innovations that will improve productivity, profit and sustainability of their agro-enterprises.

Jollibee Gives Recognition to Three Farmer Groups from the North

The Jollibee Group Foundation gives recognition to three farmer groups from Ilocos Sur, Tarlac, and Nueva Ecija. These group of farmers has completed Agro-Enterprise Training and fulfilled their commitment to deliver white onions to JGF for this year. 

Sacred Heart Savings Cooperative from Ilocos Sur; Pagbiagan Multi-Purpose Cooperative from Tarlac; and Ungab Farmers Association from Nueva Ecija received the training on Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach from October 2022 to January 2023 as part f JG's Farmer Entrepreneurship Program (FEP). Since its launch in 2008, FEP has helped farmers' to develop leadership and business skills to collectively supply high quality vegetables that will ensure profitability. Onion is the largest volume that farmer groups directly supply to JG. 

At the Agro-Enterprise Training Graduation and Onion Season Kick-Off last August 31, 2023.

Mang Inasal Support Farmer Livelihood Initiative

Mang Inasal, one of the country's provider of delicious char-grilled Chicken Inasal contributes to the livelihood of farmers so that there is continuous supply of ingredients to achieve the delicious taste of the chicken. 

"Every Chicken Inasal order contributes to the livelihood of smallholder farmers under the Farmer Entrepreneurship Program (FEP) of the Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF)," said Mike Castro, Business Unit Head at Mang Inasal. "This is because FEP farmers supply fresh ginger, one of the many natural ingredients used to make the marinade of our famous Chicken Inasal."

Jollibee Group Foundation Partners with NGOs to Help Families Affected by the Pandemic

A lot of families have been affected by the ongoing pandemic and for this reason alone, the Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) partnered with NGOs- Samahan ng Nagkakaisang Pamilya Pantawid (SNPP) and the Affiliated Network for Social Accountability-East Asia Pacific (ANSA-EAP) to provide more than 200,000 food packs to families in Luzon and Visayas.
