The DTI Food Festival 2025 also marks the launch of the DTI Malikhaing Pinoy website, a key milestone for the Philippine Gastronomy Creative Industry. Known as the "National Gateway to Filipino Creativity and Business," the website is a technological space for the DTI B2B Marketplace online platform and is designed to connect Filipino MSMEs with a wider market. It features three core functions: "Connect," offering a registry of creatives and a directory of creative industry organizations; "Learn," provides access to formal and informal learning opportunities such as workshops, seminars, masterclasses and college courses in the creative industries; and "Thrive," a channel to funding programs from government and private sectors aimed to support, nurture and scale creative enterprises.
The festival also supports the acceleration of MSME competitiveness and digital adoption. It serves as a platform to showcase heritage-inspired food products from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao thru curated exhibits, live cooking demonstrations and the featured Kayumanggi Philippine Heritage Recipe Book. The event will also celebrate Iloilo City's designation as a UNESCO Creative City for Gastronomy, underscoring the region's rich cultural and culinary heritage.
To equip MSMEs for long-term growth, the festival features a dedicated collaboration zone with technology partners, providing access to tools for e-commerce, logistics, digital payments and marketing. It further promotes innovation and storytelling, encouraging food MSMEs to embrace heritage-driven product development while scaling through digital platforms.
DTI Food Festival 2025 is not just a food show, it is a celebration of Filipino creativity and resilience. By integrating technology and cultural identity, it aims to transform MSMEs into globally competitive brands.
While distinct from the National Food Fair (NFF), the Food Festival 2025 shares the DTI's mission to uplift MSMEs. It stands out by focusing on immersive experiences, digital integration and creative gastronomy, signaling a more forward-looking approach in support of Filipino food entrepreneurs.
MSMEs across NCR, Western Visayas (particularly Iloilo), and key regions such as Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon and CALABARZON are just some of the regions in the country joining the event.
The 2025 DTI Food Festival is from May 30 to June 1, 2025 at the Megatrade Halls 1-3, SM Megamall from 10:AM to 9:00PM.
