Jollibee Group has received the 1-Golden Arrow Recognition from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) for the third consecutive year. This award reinforces JGs reputation for transparency, accountability and strong governance practices. The award was presented during the recent Golden Arrows Awards, highlighting JGs commitment to upholding the highest standards in ethical leadership and corporate responsibility.
"Receiving this award for the third year in a row reflects Jollibee Group's dedication to doing business the right way- responsibly, transparently and with integrity. It also affirms our commitment to corporate sustainability, as we continue our journey towards becoming one of the top five restaurants in the world," said Atty. Valeria Feria Amante, Jollibee Group Global Chief Legal, Ethics and Compliance Officer.
The Golden Arrow Awards evaluates publicly listed companies across the region based on their adherence to corporate governance principles measured through the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS). Companies such as Jollibee Group that earn a score of 80 pointsor higher are awarded the prestigious Golden Arrow, signifying their conformance with both the Philippine Code of Corporate Governance and international best practices.
The ACGS measures coporate governance performance across several key areas, including shareholders, transparency, and the board's role in strategic leadership and oversight. The scorecard's goals is to raise the bar for governance standards in the Philippines and help attract long-term investment by showcasing well-governed companies.
