Maricel Villalobos and Erlinda Payoyo shares their inspiring stories about breaking boundaries and rising up from society's expectations. Both are Personal Collection Dealers.
It was in 2012 when Maricel signed up as a Great Life Builder. This is the entry level position in Personal Collection's dealership. Prior to signing-up, Maricel works as a vegetable/kakanin vendor, and dreams of finishing her studies and become financially independent. But not only that, Maricel is also physically challenged- being deaf and mute.
"Bilang isang PWD, maipagmamalaki ko na hindi ako nanghihingi ng pera para lang mabili ko kung anong gusto ko at pangangailangan ko," says Maricel. "Hindi naging hadlang sa akin ang aking kapansanan. Malaki ang pasasalamat ko sa Personal Collection dahil naranasan ko grumaduate."
Because of perseverance, not only did Maricel finish her studies but was also recognized as being the Top 1 dealer in South Luzon. And being the achiever that she is- her next goal is to further climb the dealership rank and receive the highest rank of- the Great Life Executive.
Coincidentally, Erlinda Payoyo just rose up to the rank of the Great Life Executive. Erlinda's story is just as inspiring. Prior to being a dealer in 2016, Erlinda worked as a dishwasher and offered maniped as a side hustle. Reaching the top rank meant a lot to her as it just prove that she can move towards her goals while at the same time, guide her team.
"Na-promote po ako bilang isang Great Life Executive at may natutulungan po akong apat na dealers na ma-promote bilang Great Life Executive rin. Nag Top 1 po ako sa Sales and Recruitment," explained Erlinda.
From the ladies humble beginnings at Personal Collection, it is noteworthy to see the parallel between their success and that of Personal Collection's modest roots- from having just a small warehouse with one product, eight dealers and eight employees.
Today, after nearly two decades, Personal Collection is present in over 350 branches nationwide, offering hundred of trusted products in several categories: Home Care, Personal Care, Health Care, Baby Care, Fragrances, and Intimate Apparel.
Perseverance is a key to success with Personal Collection. For Maricel and Erlinda, hope was never lost and together with Personal Collection, anything is possible now matter what obstacles may come their way.
