Finding My Dream Home at Terrazza de Sto. Tomas

I've been living in Manila since birth that having house surrounded by trees and mountains, and with lots of fresh air is a lifelong dream. And visiting Terrazza de Sto. Tomas made me realize that it is possible. Read more and find out why.

Terrazza de Sto. Tomas is a development project by Ovialand in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. The Italian-inspired development sits on a 5.8 hectare property that aims to offer its residents exclusivity, privacy, and more open space for families by only building 333 units. The carefully planned property development takes into consideration that most dwellers are already tired of living in the city and wanted something peaceful and relaxing.

Ovialand offers a unique selling point in its Terrazza de Sto. Tomas property development. Unlike other real estate projects wherein the units are similar to each other, Terrazza offers three model units- Amore, which is single-detached, 99 sqm; Dolce, duplex, 75 sqm; and Bacci, a quad-unit which is totally different from each other, 65-86 sqm. I particularly find the Bacci (the three-story one with two terrace) charming.

Inspired by rustic Italian designs, the prime property merges urban modernity with old-world Italian comforts that reflects Sto Tomas' contemporary yet laidback vibe. The development also introduces garden living with units connected to either major or minor parks. Residents will be given the chance to enjoy their own gardens, and their kids to run freely and spend more time outdoors.

Coincidentally, Sto. Tomas, Batangas is just roughly an hour's away from Makati via SLEX. It is the perfect spot for those who are tired of living in the city, those who are about to raise a family, or even as a retirement home. It is also a first class municipality that has a steady growth in its local economy, along with other developments such as schools, malls, churches.

"It is normal for Filipinos to think that they have to deal with Metro's chronic problems if they want access to opportunities. What they don't realize is that these two are not mutually exclusive. There should be no exceptions when it comes to getting the life we deserve. There are options out there; it is just a matter of us choosing them. You have a say on the kind of life you want to live. Make it now," says Fatima Olivares-Vital, Business Unit Head of Ovialand Inc.

The first phase of development is expected to be done by April 2016 and is ready for its occupants by that time.
