TNC Predator and Neon Esports dominates Day 1 of the Asia-Pacific Predator League 2020/21 Dota 2 APAC Grand Final.
It was an exciting match between TNC Predator vs Galaxy Racers (Malaysia) and Neon Esports vs SOOS (Singapore) with both teams from the Philippines dominating the game and emerging victorious.
TNC Predator Team Gabbi Villafuerte and Armel Tabios' patience when it comes to counterattack proved to be the best battle plan in winning over the hyper-aggresive playstyle of Galaxy Racers.
The second match saw Neon Esports carry their momentum from the Singapore Major as they easily dispatched Team SOOS, from Singapore. Though Team SOOS was able to ban Puck, who is Neon's signature hero, they were still out drafted and outplayed from the beginning. Neon Esports did a good job in denying the top lane from Team SOOS, which led to Natsumi Vargas' snowballed Bloodseeker.
In the other matches, BOOM Esports of Indonesia bested Team Star from Malaysia.
496 Gaming of Vietnam proved to be the downfall of Philippines' Reckoning Esports with the latter's solid game defense.
On the other hand, the defeated teams still have a chance to bounce back in the tournament during the double-elimination rounds.
Matches are broadcasted on Facebook and Twitch channels. You may also tune in to Predator's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages to watch the games from April 7 to 11!
