Globe myBusiness: ProjectEd Awards Night

Globe ProjectEd is a synergy of concepts that defines the future of education with the help of digital technology. ProjectEd aims to spread change and broaden the vision of students when it comes to learning. ProjectEd is a nationwide video competition to all high school students. The students must come up with a 3-minute video created using their mobile phones that answers the question- "How is technology changing how you learn today?"

From almost a 100 entries, Globe ProjectEd received creative and extremely engaging videos from high school students all over the country. The panel of judges trimmed down that list to 10 of the best videos. Results of the top 3 we announced during the awarding ceremony which was held at the Maybank Performing Arts Auditorium.

A special viewing of the top 10 finalist was also included in the awards program as well as some performances from favorites bands. Criteria for judging include: 30% shareability or social media, 30% appropriateness, and 40% creativity.

The top three winners were given generous prizes: P50,000 cash and P50,000 education package for the school for the Grand Winner; P30,000 cash and P30,000 education package for the school for the 1st Runner-up; and P20,000 cash and P20,000 education package for the school for the 2nd Runner-up.
