LBC Workforce Nationwide is Almost 100% Inoculated

Time is of essence as LBC aims to achieve its goal of complete herd immunity among their ranks as they proudly declare that 98% of their workforce have already been inoculated against Covid-19.

This is just one of the measures that LBC is strictly implementing especially with the huge spike of Covid cases early this year and spread of Omicron.

With the company's "Bakuna sa Lahat" Program that began last August 2021, saw 6,452 employees, their dependents and truckers in NCR alone vaccinated through this initiative, while 1,798 were vaccinated through their respective LGUs, achieving the 98% vaccinated individuals.

For provincial areas, spanning North and South Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, 9589 employees, dependents, and truckers are already vaccinated, giving LBC a 97% rate for all regions.

Aside from looking after the health and well-being of its employee, LBC also helped communities by making a donation of 498 vials covering 4,980 doses of vaccines to various LGUs in NCR and nearby provinces.

LBC partnered with 75 accredited hospital so as to ensure the success of the program and also to comply with DOH guidelines from registration, to counseling, screening of medical physician, immunization and monitoring.

The vaccine drive elicited positive response from its workforce, owing to its comprehensive three-step process of Education, Encouragement and Engagement.

Initially, LBC tapped their officers to disseminate relevant information to all their teams in huddles and meetings. According to Jhayner Bufi, LBC's Chief People Officer, they engaged the company's managers to be the spokespersons on the safety and effectivity of the vaccines, given their sphere of influence over their employees.

What followed we poster statements- with LBC President Miguel Camahort and other officers as main influencers. Organic HR and Admin employees were also tasked to organized, campaign, communicate, mobilize and roll-out the vaccine campaign seamlessly. To make the sign-ups easy, an in-house registration e-link was also established.

And as the road to completing 100% vaccination among employees, LBC continues to implement trict safety protocols in all their work spaces- specially in their branches which have remained open and operational without pause. "The way LBC has been servicing and moving commerce around, we'd like it to be handled by safe, and healthy people," said Bufi.

With LBC's "Bakuna sa Lahat" program, the company believes they can continue on their mission to move forward and serve the Filipino excellently and safely in the fields of express courier, cargo and money remittance service.
