VISITA IGLESIA: Our Lady of Monserrat Abbey

This is actually a chapel of San Beda College. If you are not familiar with the universities in Mendiola area, you won't really know that there's a chapel / church along Mendiola because it looks like a school building from the outside.

Our Lady of Montserrat Abbey, if we go by the official name of San Beda chapel is actually a Benedictine monastery which was founded in Spain.

The chapel's interiors is akin to the churches in Europe. It is rich Neo-baroque interior that has a Gothic exterior. If you attend the 6:00 am mass, you will hear the monks singing the prayers. Hearing the monks sing gives a whole new meaning to spirituality.

The chapel's door is a massive metal door with stained-glass. You can just imagine the colorful light that goes inside the church when the sun is at its brightest.

Here's another look at San Beda Chapel.
