Urban Filipino Home Exhibit at The Shangri-La Plaza

Living spaces nowadays are much more personalized than it is years ago. Nowadays, a person's living space is a reflection of who he/she is.

This is mostly true with those who dwell in the city. Instead of having a traditional design set-up, homes nowadays adapt to each person's lifestyle.

Shangri-La Plaza, one of the country's premier shopping destination recently launched Urban Filipino Home. The exhibit highlights the creativity and lifestyle of personalities from different field. Their living spaces are infused with what they are passionate about. Urban Filipino Home runs from August 15 to 23, 2017 at the Main Atrium of Shangri-La Plaza.

PBA courtside reported Apple David's room has a monochromatic feel except for a few colors colors here and there. Her choice of furniture and overall design suggest no-nonsense but comfortable. Its very clean and relaxing.

Mall-goer can visit the display area at the Main Atrium and find inspiration for their homes based on the designs of fashion icons Rajo Laurel and Jappy Gonzalez; interior designer Jie Pambid; artists Karylle Yuzon and Jed Madela; lifestyle columnist Stephanie Zubir-Crespi; TV personalities Tintin and Julius Babao; Apple David; and Xandra Ramos-Padilla of National Bookstore and Anvil Publishing House.

"Here at the Shang, we're all about helping you live out your dream lifestyle," says Shangri-La Plaza EVP and General Manager Lala Fojas. "After the first home exhibit held two years ago, we wanted to continue inspiring our guests to create spaces that they feel are truly theirs."

The featured stylists selected items to furnish their spaces from brands Bo Concept, Luxe Room, Sheridan, Rustan's Department Store, Steltz Lighting, Restoration, Tempur, Design Pod, Sealy, La-Z Boy, Shelter, Ego Italiano, La Sedia, Ariston, GE Monogram, Hacker, True Value, Ashley Furniture, Simmons Gallery, Blims, Slumberland, and Shell Canvas.
