Avida and Kubular Team Up: Art in Space

Avida Land and Kubular recently unveiled a two-week exhibit called, "Art in Space." This features creative and artistic-looking but definitely functional furniture pieces. Kubular is a furniture design firm who also form the creative team of apparel brand, Team Manila.


This is the first exhibit between Avida Land, known for championing sensible and inspired living, and Kubular. The exhibit is at the Avida showroom in Glorietta 4 and features never-before-seen pieces from Kubular's newest collection.

Kubular's furniture designs has an industrial and Scandinavian feel- wood and metal elements that are formed to create artful looking pieces that is very functional. The furniture pieces are contemporary, flexible and sustainable.


Kubular's LightStyle Collection features cream-colored Birch wood as primary material as the light color are deemed essential to complement our busy surroundings.


Avida aims to highlight the unique lifestyle in San Antonio Makati with this collaboration. The residential village in Makati has a wealth of quaint shops, galleries, and restaurants that are integrated together in the community. This area is home to Avida Towers Asten and will also be the place of their newest development- One Antonio.


"Avida and Kubular share the dynamic working millennial demographic- the young, hardworking, creative and culturally-inclined who deserve access to artistically curated and thoughtfully designed living. We want to provide what is essential to their lifestyle- pieces that are of good quality, functional, modern, and sustainable," says Tess Tatco, Avida Land Marketing Head.


"All the furniture you see here aren't aspirtaional- they're accessible. You can purchase them and take them home to improve your own space after the show. Innovation doesn't have to be just aspirational. That's what Kubular and Avida stand for," adds Mon Punzalan of Kubular.




Art in Space is on display at the Avida Showroom in Glorietta 2 until June 30, 2016. The exhibit also features new releases from Team Manila and Suez & Zapote, an independent space that features diverse applications of art and design through its main medium, silkscreen printing.
